The Burtscher&Bertolini design office, initially based in Vienna, successively moved to Bolzano.⠀
It concentrates on timber and its technology; the research combines pure design with direct testing of prototypes in the lab.
“Wood is only one-syllable word, but behind it lies a world full of beauty and wonder” said Theodor Heuss and Patrizia Bertolini seems to agree completely with this thought.
Her works perfectly reflect what she feels towards this wonderful material and the Autoreggente table – one of her masterpieces – designed for Horm Casamania is a perfect example.
